Quality matters. We have selected our favorite coffee roaster on Main Street and our favorite tea company to share with Bakehouse guests. Learn about our offerings below.
Coffee
When Alex & Geoff served coffee to their guests at the B&B they managed, their guests would RAVE about it. Maybe they were on a vacation-high or maybe the coffee was truly a highlight from their Galena vacations. We serve the same coffee, today, at Galena Bakehouse.
Our coffee beans are locally roasted on Main Street from our friends at Isabella Imports. They have been roasting for over 30 years to coffee shops, B&Bs, vacationers, locals, and, now, our bakery. The medium roast, PERRY BLEND, is a creation from "back-in-the-day" to pair with a luxury supper club on Galena's Perry Street. The coffee blend is patented (really!) and is made from Colombian & Indonesian beans.
Our cold brew is a local favorite! If we aren't busy, the baristas can make cold brew for you, too.
The Art of Tea
Art of Tea is a tea importer and wholesaler based in Los Angeles, California. They blend and custom craft the world’s finest organic teas & botanicals. The teas are carefully selected directly from growers and finally taste tested by Alex & Geoff.
A few of our favorites are Earl Grey Crème, Green Pomegranate, Apricot Escape, and Pacific Coast Mint. This summer we are featuring our Matcha Lemonade or try a Lavender Hibiscus Iced Tea. A Lavender London Fog is on our daily menu, because yum!
Seasonal Drinks at Galena Bakehouse
A must try: the Bakehouse Latte with local Jo Daviess Honey + Vanilla.
The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte has been very popular. This cinnamon latte is made with Oat Milk and really tastes like the cereal! Other daily lattes include a Caramel Macchiato, Lavender White Mocha, a Vanilla Chai or maybe try stumping our on duty barista with something new.
We always love a Classic Hot Chocolate, or a Marshmallow Hot Chocolate. Try our Caramel Warm Apple Cider as you enjoy one of the many Galena events happening this winter!

Do you offer decaf? We offer decaf espressos, lattes, & Americanos.
Do you sell whole beans as a gift? We do! Order in store or online. We only sell the Perry Street blend in 12oz bags. We do not sell the decaf or espresso beans, but could if given over 7 days notice.
